Susan Pinkus ~ "Defending Our Wildlife"
Susan Pinkus is a Staff Scientist with Ecojustice (formerly Sierra Legal Defense Fund), a public interest environmental law organization, where she works to integrate science, law and policy towards biodiversity conservation. Susan has spent the past 15 years doing research and advocacy work on species and ecosystems at risk on four continents. For the last two and a half years, she has worked to get a strong species and ecosystem protection law passed in British Columbia. Susan has an M.Sc. in conservation biology from UBC and is a Registered Professional Biologist.
