How can I value the Earth’s limited natural resources in my every day choices?conservation_header_v3.jpg

“Treat the earth well. We do not inherit it from our Ancestors. We borrow it from our children and grandchildren.” Chief Seattle of the Suquamish Nation

Human activity is putting such a strain on the natural functions of Earth that the ability of the planet’s ecosystem to sustain future generations can no longer be taken for granted[1]. That’s the call from our esteemed scientists. The human activity they’re talking about is ours!

With opened eyes and understanding, commitment and creativity we can choose to conserve the energy, clean water, forests and sea life that still remain so that our planet can regenerate abundance for future generations. We are the 5% of the world’s population that are using 30% of the world’s resources and creating 30% of the world’s waste[2]! The time to take action is now, so we can be part of a more balanced world tomorrow.
