Reality Church enthusiastically joined forces with BTCEA and Cougar Creek Streamkeeper to contribute to the improvement of local freshwater ecosystems. With the guidance and assistance of BTCEA and Cougar Creek Streamkeepers, Reality Church’s youth group embarked on designing and constructing three remarkable rain gardens. The project was a hands-on learning experience for the young participants, helping them gain valuable insights into the threats to freshwater ecosystems and the significance of local solutions.
The completion of Reality Church's rain garden project through the Water is Life initiative stands as a testament to the power of youth-driven environmental action. By designing and constructing these rain gardens, the young participants not only gained practical knowledge about protecting freshwater ecosystems but also contributed directly to the health and quality of their local environment. The collaboration between BTCEA, Cougar Creek Streamkeeper, and Reality Church exemplifies the importance of partnerships in achieving sustainable and impactful environmental initiatives. The rain gardens created by Reality Church will continue to serve as a reminder of the positive change that can be accomplished through collective efforts and the preservation of our precious freshwater resources.
