Charlotte Taylor (she/her) is an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia, located on the unceded, traditional, and ancestral territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓ əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱ wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil Waututh) First Nations. She is pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Climate Change Communications. She works as Student Engagement Lead for the UBC Climate Hub and looks forward to joining the Be the Change Earth Alliance team as a Summer Program Assistant. She contributes articles to The Starfish, an online publication that covers the youth environmentalism movement and will be joining the editorial board of the UBC Journal for Climate Justice this year.
Charlotte enjoys writing and publishing blog posts about environmental sustainability (available to read on her website: charlottetaylor.work). Her interests are: ecology, nature conservation, climate action, sustainable development, public policy, international affairs, and creative writing. She is passionate about providing youth with educational resources and artistic practices to explore climate justice issues.
