Neela Rader

Education Program Assistant

Neela Rader (they/them) is a sibling, artist, and community organizer living on the unceded, traditional, and currently occupied territories of the syilx Okanagan People. A settler of Gaels, English, Dutch, and Italian descent, they are committed to learning and acting in anticolonial solidarity with Indigenous people from Turtle Island to Palestine. Neela is currently a Cultural Studies and Visual Arts student at UBCO, where their studying and campus activism are centered around intersectional climate justice. They love Nina Simone, playing the fiddle, and spending time with their sibling.
