Supporting schools get to zero waste

Be The Change Earth Alliance offers a range of programs that work across the region to support schools and communities to get to zero waste. BTCEA supports the Metro Vancouver Zero Waste Challenge and the City of Vancouver's Greenest City Zero Waste goal by engaging students on local sustainability solutions.

Waste Watchers Initiative

Waste Watchers is an action education initiative that supports youth to access waste systems and to create awareness and systems projects to reduce their school or community centre's waste footprint. Click here for more information and to sign up to participate in this initiative.

Zero Waste Workshops

In collaboration with the City of Vancouver, BTCEA will be delivering zero waste workshops in 20 Science 9 classes in Vancouver high schools. Click here for more information and to register to have a workshop delivered at your school.
