Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?

Yes! Be The Change Earth Alliance is a CRA-registered charity, so donations are eligible for a charitable tax receipt, which can be claimed in your annual income tax returns. BTCEA issues tax receipts in the January/February following your donation.

How does Be The Change use my donation?

All donations support our mission to inspire, educate, and empower youth to take personal and collective action for a just, sustainable, resilient, and fulfilling world. Your donation will help us:

Run workshops in schools across Metro Vancouver
Create quality learning resources on environmental issues for schools across BC
Mentor students creating hands-on solution oriented projects
Host our annual youth climate networking event, connecting thousands of students and inspiring hope and action
Create and maintain our online learning portal: Curriculum For Change (C4C)

Can I make a gift in my will?

Yes! You can leave a specific bequest in your will to set aside a certain dollar amount to Be The Change. It is important that you include the full legal name of the charity:
