UBC Sustainability Hub
Be the Change Earth Alliance is proud to partner with UBC Sustainability Hub in the delivery of our Youth Climate Ambassadors Program (YCAP). Since the initial 2019 pilot in partnership with UBC Climate Hub, BTCEA has trained UBC student Sustainability Ambassadors to become facilitators of climate storytelling workshops, delivering hopeful and action-oriented climate programming in classrooms across Metro Vancouver. This by youth, for youth workshop model builds emotionally resilient future climate leaders, both out of its facilitators as well as of its participants.

Be the Change Earth Alliance is grateful to be a 2025 recipient of UBC’s Community University Engagement Support (CUES) Fund, and is proud to partner with UBC’s Faculty of Education in the revitalization of our Student Leadership for Change (SLC) flagship online learning resources. BTCEA has engaged UBC Teacher Candidates in the review and improvement of our SLC program, ensuring our content remains informed by and optimised for the educator community we serve.
Climate Action Ripple Effect (CARE)
Be the Change Earth Alliance is thrilled to partner with Climate Action Ripple Effect (CARE) through the Fresh Outlook Foundation. Based in Vernon & the Central Okanagan, CARE combines groundbreaking student learning and public engagement tactics to tackle community climate issues. Grade 6-12 students work with community mentors to build the knowledge, learning approaches, project development know-how, and relational skills they need to create real-world climate solutions in their schools, homes, and communities.
