How to use this map:

Trying to plan a project in your community? Browse the entries to get inspired from what other youth have accomplished!
Working on a project in your community? Learn from other students who have accomplished a similar action project: send them an email or read the “Lessons Learned” section of each entry. Or, connect with students who are currently working on a project similar to yours, and join forces.

Commit to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint

You may have learned about how actions you take contribute to environmental and social harm, but it can be overwhelming to figure out how to change these. Between 40-45% of our daily actions are habits - we do these without thinking. If you make sustainable choices a habit, it will be easier to automatically avoid polluting. To create a habit, you need to repeat the action for many days. To start, use our form to find and commit to one or more actions for a few weeks, and to think about how you will stick with your commitment. This form also allows Be The Change to track how many tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions we are diverting together!
